  33. I upgraded my A600 by adding a small hard drive and had a lot of problems.
  34. So here are a few things you need to know
  35. First only a 2.5 inch drive will fit inside, you can use 3.5inch drives
  36. but you will have to get a cable adaptor (as the connectors are not the 
  37. same size) and somehow rig a box or something for the drive. Also The ide
  38. cable must be short.
  39. Your amiga must have kickstart version 37.3 or better. 
  40. Finally you will need some software to configure the disk. Something like
  41. HDprep, or HDtoolkit or something.
  42. If you have these just plug the drive in and turn on. Run the HD prep 
  43. software and and then just reboot and format the drive (all of its
  44. partitions) just like any floppy.
